Meet the team

Badge the badger doesn't explore alone. Here's the crew you'll run into around the site.

Badge

Our badger, and Wisconsin's state animal: blaze-orange beanie, red buffalo-check flannel, trail pack and a park sticker on his chest. He shares tips on every page with a scene, cheers when you stamp a park, and walks the Explore map's season timeline.

The rabbit

Quick, quiet and hard to catch. It hops along the home page ridge and hides behind bushes and trees in the meadow tag game. Watch for its ears over the treetop.

The squirrel

Fast, bossy and always up a tree. It leads Badge on chases across the home page, and when it hides it scrambles up a trunk and peeks out of the leaves.

The birds

A flock crosses the home page sky, one swoops low enough for Badge to leap at, and one likes to land on his beanie.
